I loved the substantial breakfast with a fantastic view and the consistently courteous and efficient staff, everything was nice, and I had a nice stay here, I would book here again.

We found the Mercure Thalassa Les sables d'Olonne to be a friendly,relaxing hotel.

The only down side,was that it was quite a way from the town center.Once you got in to town,parking was a problem.It was a nice walk along the sea front.

The classic twin room is elegant and good-sized. The staff are all amiable. It offers excellent service. In fact, there's private parking on site...

The hotel offers nicely furnished rooms in a quiet area. the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, providing good services. the breakfasts are the best and satisfactory with a fantastic view.

Modern and great-sized room, helpful stuff at reception desk. Location very close to the sea near amenities of both the city and the natural beauty of the vendee, the outskirts of the town about 1 or 1,5 miles away and the Vendee.

Towels were dreadful! We were part of a group taking part in the twinning celebrations in Olonne sur Mer but when we came back to the hotel at about 23.00 we were unable to unwind by having a drink together at the bar.

Exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated place. Very amiable staff. Beautiful location on the outskirts of the town. Substantial breakfast with a huge variety of options available. Elegant and new-fashioned rooms with particularly nice views of the stormy sea.

Limited restaurant menu. Unusual access to sauna/steam ie not from poolside. Robes not provided free of charge.

The view was great! Pool was nice though it should be opened until at least 10pm in summer.

Breakfast; scrambled eggs were terrible. We put the don not disturb sign on as we didn,t want our room serviced & we got back from being out & the cleaner was in our room. Do not disturb means just that, do not disturb! You should have a map of the spa facilities for guests. Spa menu should also be in English!

The hotel has lovely decor and the staff at the reception desk are very attentive.

Wonderful location by a lake and the sea. Room was light and airy. Good car parking. Good pool.

This place offers a modern classic twin room with sea views, featuring a comfortable bed and great service from the reception staff.

We were in room No.1 And were woken very early in the morning by loud noises which we can only think could have come from the kitchens as this continued so we didn't get back to sleep. To pay the amount of money and have a bad nights sleep due to noise from the hotel put a dampner on our stay. I think the first noise was someone pushing dustbins but not sure as it was dark.

The location is picturesque, just 1 km from St Paul's Church. It is situated in a very quiet area. the building is lovely, and the rooms are tastefully furnished with air conditioning, comfortable beds, and balconies.
